Where Super Visa files go wrong

Small gaps in documents cause big delays

  • Income proof that doesn't clearly meet the minimum required
  • Insurance that doesn't meet IRCC's rules or start date
  • An invitation letter missing required promises or details
  • Weak proof of the family relationship

What I do instead

  • Check your income against the current requirement before you apply
  • Review the insurance policy against IRCC's rules
  • Draft an invitation letter that covers every required point
  • Organize relationship and supporting documents clearly

Questions

Common questions

Who can invite parents on a Super Visa?

A child or grandchild who is at least 18, lives in Canada, and is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or registered Indian, and who meets the minimum income requirement.

How long can my parents stay?

A Super Visa allows long stays per entry, much longer than a regular visitor visa. I confirm the current limits and extension options for your situation in the consultation.

What insurance is required?

Private health insurance valid for at least 1 year from entry, from a Canadian insurer or an approved foreign insurer, that meets IRCC's coverage rules. I check the policy before you buy or submit.

Do my parents need a medical exam?

Yes, an immigration medical exam is required.

Must my parents apply from outside Canada?

Yes, applicants must be outside Canada when they submit. If an approval letter arrives while they are in Canada, there are options, explained in my guide.

Can you guarantee approval?

No licensed consultant can. Decisions are made by IRCC. I promise a complete, carefully reviewed application.

Ready to talk about your application?

Send a message with your name, your status in Canada and where your parents live. I'll reply with available appointment times.
